Abacus will yet again be official Outfitter of The 2011 European Solheim Cup Team.

The Swedish golf-clothing brand Abacus has been commissioned to dress The 2011 European Solheim Cup Team following on from the great success in 2007 and 2009.

Abacus was the Official Clothing Supplier to both The European Solheim Cup Team and PING Junior Solheim Cup teams in Sweden in 2007 and  2009.

Abacus also supplied clothing to the Ladies European Tour’s tournament staff during both events.

The contract for continued cooperation between Abacus and The European Solheim Cup team has been agreed on. In brief it means that Abacus will dress the players, their caddies, members of the board, the players' guests and the team's dignitaries during the competition week at Killeen Castle Golf Club in Ireland, September 2011.

The captain Alison Nicholas and the vice captain Joanne Morley for the European team, visited Abacus in Dalby in June this year, together with two directors from the Ladies European Tour. The reason for the visit was to sign the contract with abacus, go over the experiences from previous years and to prepare for the new collection.
